GMAT Case Study

Helping people realize their dreams through a better user experience.

The Graduate Management Admission Council® is a global non-profit organization comprised of leading graduate business schools around the world. GMAC is the owner and administrator of the GMAT® exam, the first and only standardized test specifically designed for graduate business and management programs. It is the most widely used assessment for graduate management admissions and the most reliable predictor of academic success in graduate business studies.

GMAT looked to Extractable for help in developing a new brand aesthetic for MBA.com. The goal was to deliver a compelling, useful website experience that helps aspiring students realize their goal of a graduate degree.

The journey to graduate business school is not easy. Taking the test is just part of what’s involved. Our idea was to use MBA.com to extend the relationship, providing content and tools that would assist an aspiring graduate student before during and after the test. To achieve this we redesigned the website using a modern, responsive design system. Content was organized using a color-coded system that made it easy to find the right content.

And we created powerful tools like a school finder and a “My Plan” application, which mapped out all the critical deliverables and dates students needed to tend to in order to get into the school of their choice.
