Creating an effective website or web application these days is extremely challenging. New products launch frequently. Technology shifts quickly. Browser versions change even faster. Competitors don't stand still. And user perceptions are ever-evolving due to new interfaces and experiences they engage with daily.
To help, we've developed a consultative approach that combines insight from qualitative and quantitative research to inform the design and development of branded, differentiated experiences with proven ROI results.
Qualitatively, we use a number of research techniques to gather data, such as user ethnographic studies (also known as contextual research), focus groups, competitive and comparative benchmarking, and heuristic, multi-dimensional site analysis. Quantitatively, we conduct comprehensive analytics of historical user traffic and clickstream behavior. In this way, we learn not only what users say they want and prefer, but what they actually do.
With that data, together with the information derived from technical analysis, and business objectives evaluation and prioritization, we're able to define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to inform the future evolution of the experiences we design and build. While providing clients' customers and users with enjoyable digital experiences, typical business-impacting results include improved brand preference, longer visits, more sign-ups and purchases, fewer calls to customer service, higher frequency of return visits, and increased customer satisfaction ratings.
