FOSTER CITY , CA – Extractable, a leading user experience strategy and design consultancy, today announced that it has been selected by the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) of California to help establish a citizen-centric approach to web site design throughout the California Superior Court system. The AOC is the staff agency of California’s Judicial Council, which is the policy-making body for California courts.
"The AOC is committed to ensuring fair and equal access to justice for all Californians, and the Internet is a critical and growing channel for serving the needs of the public. Key to this goal is improving ease-of-use across all of California’s trial court web sites," Mark Gelade, AOC Web Communications Supervisor, explained. "Extractable has a stellar track record helping organizations re-envision the online web experience. We hope to support both the public and court professionals by creating designs, templates, and recommendations that foster greater ease-of-use for all."
"The AOC is working to ensure that judicial branch web sites adequately serve the needs of a broad range of users, including the public, judges, Court Executive Officers, court professionals, AOC staff, justice partners, and clients statewide," Craig McLaughlin, CEO and President of Extractable, said. "We are very excited to partner with the AOC to better align the goals of its internal and external constituencies."
