January 8, 2008
San Francisco, CA. Extractable, a leading Web strategy consultancy, has ended 2007 with solid revenue growth and an even stronger platform for client success. The company has secured business from a number of prominent clients, including The Charles Schwab Corp., CEFCU (Citizens Equity First Credit Union), California-based Mervyns, NETGEAR and Symantec.
"The past year was very significant for Extractable in terms of both revenue and new customer relationships," Craig McLaughlin, CEO and president of Extractable, explained. "The company continued to enhance its offerings in Web strategy and global Web support. Of keynote are the successes for financial institutions producing comprehensive plans for Web strategy, user experience design, maintenance and global Web support to help with customer experience. The result was the completion of several key projects, such as Charles Schwab’s new MoneyWise™ Web site."
In recognition of its efforts, Extractable was the recipient of seven WebAwards from the Web Marketing Association. The WebAwards recognize outstanding Web site development and Internet marketing in 96 industry categories. Extractable produced award winning Web sites in the following categories: Best Credit Union Web Site, Financial Services Site Standard of Excellence, Investment Site Standard of Excellence, Medical Site Standard of Excellence, Medical Equipment Site Standard of Excellence, Pharmaceuticals Site Standard of Excellence and Technology Site Standard of Excellence.
American First Credit Union (AFCU), based in Orange County, Calif., is one of the many financial institutions that have improved member service and competitive positioning due to two Web site projects created by Extractable.
"Extractable’s design and content teams were able to redesign our Web site to maximize visibility of our core products and services," said Brian Thompson, vice president of delivery and technology at American First Credit Union. "Ease of navigation and better product placement have increased our Web site traffic and contributed to higher member satisfaction. The project management and development skills helped AFCU deliver a Web experience that was on time and on budget."
This year Extractable also added several key executives. One of these additions was Mathew Quilter, director of Web strategy. Quilter is a former member of the Web teams at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., Logitech and the Xerox Corp. Quilter is managing the Web strategy practice that is responsible for making recommendations to customers on issues such as user experience and information architecture. Uday Kotla also joined Extractable as the vice president of Technology. Kotla came to the company from MarketLive, an e-commerce technology services firm. As the leader of the Technology practice, Uday directs client technology strategies and is responsible for the implementation of these plans.
Additionally, in anticipation of continued growth over the next several years, Extractable doubled its physical presence by moving to a new building overlooking the San Francisco Bay. The company is now located in Foster City, Calif. at 101 Lincoln Centre Drive.
"At Extractable, we leverage our expertise and our extensive research to create the most financially effective Web sites for our customers and their audiences," McLaughlin added. "The additions to our management team, larger office space and recognition by the Web Marketing Association will further support our efforts to achieve outstanding results for our clients. We look forward to 2008 being another exceptional year."
