Extractable Launches New SAFE Credit Union Web Site

San Francisco, CA.  March 14, 2006 - SAFE Credit Union, a leading California financial institution, today launched their new web site.  Designed and developed by Extractable, the site provides a complete financial destination for current and prospective SAFE CU members.

The web site is designed using a portal-based user interface that offers exposed lower-level navigation, a strong promotional area, direct access to home banking log-in and a “life stage” navigational tool.  A unique element of the home page is the interactive rate comparison tool.  The tool integrates competitive interest rates for a variety of financial products and compares them the SAFE CU’s rates.  Users can navigate across multiple products, view graphic rate comparisons and download data to a spreadsheet.

The creative design for the SAFE CU site is rooted in the sophistication of the brand.  The interface leverages a blue color palette over a clean, white content area that provides easy legibility with a nuanced look and feel.

Functionally, the site offers best-of-breed content and applications to assist customers in all of their financial needs.  The site offers a wide range of financial calculators, online applications, resources and tutorials to help credit union members at all levels of wealth.  The SAFE CU life stage planning resource offers information for different life events and encourages interaction with a SAFE CU financial advisor.

Extractable provided a full range of services in support of the SAFE CU site design and development engagement, including strategic thinking, user interface development, creative design, application development and site production.  Built on .NET, the site is scalable and flexible.  The site integrates content management capabilities using the Crown Point CMS.

The SAFE CU site represents the latest credit union site to be developed by Extractable.  The company has developed leading web sites for Technology Credit Union, Columbia Credit Union, American First Credit Union and Orange County’s Credit Union.

SAFE Credit Union’s redesigned site is live at http://www.safecu.org.
