Vocera Communications Launches Redesigned Site and Extranet

San Francisco, CA. January 4, 2006 - Extractable, a leading west coast interactive agency, today announced the launch of the redesigned Vocera Communications web site.  Vocera provides an integrated communication system comprising software and wearable badges that allow instant communication with others using simple voice commands. 

The web site, designed and developed by Extractable, is comprised of a public-facing corporate portal and an extranet for customers, partners and developers.  The public site focuses on the variety of solutions Vocera offers for specific industries, including healthcare, retail and hospitality.  The site content is feature-rich, offering video demonstrations of the communication system in action.

The site’s look and feel focuses on a layered, two-tier navigation system that directs the eye to site content.  Using a clean, white background and blue branding, the site is professional and welcoming.

Extractable’s extranet capabilities offer targeted content organized around a permission-based content architecture.  Individual users are provided with content based on their permission levels and role.

The site is built using a Macromedia Contribute content management system and custom-built extranet components.
